Frequently Asked Questions

Answers for West Palm Beach patients

Everything you need to know about visits, implants, costs, comfort, and care at Palm Beach Institute of Dentistry.

New patients & visits

Are you accepting new patients?+

Yes — we welcome new patients of all ages in West Palm Beach. Book online anytime or call (561) 429-2196. Walk-ins are welcome.

What should I expect at my first visit?+

A thorough exam, any necessary digital X-rays or 3D imaging, and a one-on-one conversation with Dr. Etemad about your goals, concerns, and budget. You’ll leave with a clear treatment plan and no surprises.

Do you offer free consultations?+

Yes — we offer free, no-pressure consultations for implants and major treatment, so you understand your options and costs before committing.

Dental implants

How much does a dental implant cost?+

A single dental implant — including the implant, abutment, and crown — is $2,400 at our office, compared with the Florida average of $3,000–$6,000. Your final cost depends on your individual needs, which we review at your free consultation.

Am I a candidate for dental implants?+

Most adults with one or more missing or failing teeth are candidates. A quick evaluation with 3D imaging lets Dr. Etemad assess your bone and plan precisely — even patients told “no” elsewhere are often candidates with the right approach.

How long does the implant process take?+

It varies by case. Some patients qualify for same-day solutions, while traditional implants heal over a few months before the final crown. Dr. Etemad maps out your exact timeline at your consultation.

Do you offer All-on-4 or full-mouth implants?+

Yes — Dr. Etemad places full-arch and All-on-4 implant solutions to replace a full set of upper or lower teeth: a fixed, natural-looking alternative to dentures.

Cosmetic dentistry

What cosmetic treatments do you offer?+

Porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, tooth-colored fillings, cosmetic bonding, and complete smile makeovers — all designed around your features and goals.

How much do veneers cost?+

Veneers are $1,000 per tooth. We’ll build an exact treatment plan at your consultation based on how many teeth you’d like to enhance.

Do you offer professional teeth whitening?+

Yes — professional whitening that’s safer and far more effective than over-the-counter kits, with results you’ll notice right away.

Sedation & comfort

Do you offer sedation for anxious patients?+

Absolutely. Dr. Etemad completed a fellowship in oral sedation and offers comfortable, anxiety-free options. Nervous and first-time patients are our specialty.

Is sedation dentistry safe?+

Yes. Administered by a fellowship-trained dentist and monitored throughout your visit, sedation is a safe, effective way to stay relaxed during treatment.

Same-day crowns & emergencies

Can I get a crown in one visit?+

Yes — with CEREC same-day crown technology and our on-site lab, we design, mill, and place your crown in a single appointment. No temporary crown, no second visit.

Do you see dental emergencies?+

Yes — we offer same-day emergency care for severe pain, broken or knocked-out teeth, and lost crowns. Call (561) 429-2196 as early as possible and we’ll get you seen.

What counts as a dental emergency?+

Severe or worsening toothache, a knocked-out or cracked tooth, a lost filling or crown, swelling, or bleeding that won’t stop. When in doubt, call us — we’ll advise you right away.

Costs, insurance & payment

Do you take my insurance?+

We accept most major dental insurance plans. We do not accept Medicaid. Contact our office with your plan details and we’ll help you understand your coverage and benefits.

What payment and financing options do you offer?+

We accept all major credit and debit cards, cash, CareCredit, and Cherry payment plans — plus in-house, interest-free payment plans so you can move forward with care comfortably.
